Varna Opens a Photo Exhibition Dedicated to the Creative Legacy of Mykhailo Parashchuk

On August 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM, the “Atlantic Solidarity” Square in Varna will host the opening of a unique photo exhibition showcasing the work of the outstanding Ukrainian sculptor Mykhailo Parashchuk, who lived and worked in Bulgaria for over 40 years.

The exhibition, curated by art historian Ivo Milev and photographer Stefan N. Shterev, will present the beauty of sculptural compositions and decorative elements adorning famous architectural landmarks in Bulgaria: the decoration of the Central Post Office building in Varna, the Polish coat of arms on the monument to Władysław of Varna, and the capitals of the gymnasium designed by architect Boris Kapitonov.

Running from August 18 to September 18, 2025, the exhibition will offer a cultural journey through the city, fostering dialogue between Ukraine and Bulgaria through the artist’s work.
